Job Description
HIFI Labs is looking for a passionate Senior Fullstack Engineer with an eye for beautiful designs, intuitive interactions while being an advocate for our end users and their privacy. We’d also love if you have deep understanding of web3 (or eager to learn it).
You will be a part of multiple engineering efforts such as exploring and building internal HIFI Labs products, develop custom artist websites and contribute to our open-source projects such as neume and EQ.
We would be really happy if you had some these traits
- Kind team player who take ownership of their responsibilities and leads by example
- Street-smart adventurer excited about new technologies who knows when the old “boring” framework is the safest bet
- Smart learner who knows when to deep-dive and when we need to get things done
- Pixel-perfect builder? Nah, but if you like and care about design, can catch 100px being off, pink color instead of white, we might double-like you.
Experience
- We are 100% all in on Javascript / Typescript but every project is unique so you need to be open to try something new.
- We love React / Next.js and everything we currently build is utilizing these frameworks. The SSG and SSR wave is hitting hard though, so frameworks such as Remix and React Server Components seems quite tempting, right?
- Styled Components and/or Theme UI has been working pretty good for us when it comes to the styling of things, but once we start deep-diving in design systems that need some serious scaling, we’d want to explore that together with you.
- We are addicted to Continuous Deployment and Integration, being able to ship both features and minor fixes instantaneously ****using Netlify + Cloudflare CDN + Cloudflare Edge Workers. Fly.io is also pretty cool.
- Firebase has been our partner in crime, offering everything we might have need for our backend stuff such as cloud functions, authentication, databases and storage. Since we are all about privacy, we’d like to try Supabase for the next big project. Wanna help us?
- We are doing a lot of Web3 stuff on the Ethereum blockchain and have been using a combination of Hardhat + ethers.js to build and test our smart-contracts. ****We would love if you have too!
